CallGenie has made it a lot easier for my parents to communicate with distant family members, as their facility with tablets and phones declines.
Setup can be tricky (and dependent on your internet provider), but the remote assistance via video call seemed to work well and resolved those setup issues quickly.
Purchased for my elderly mother who doesn't use computers. So useful that the call just pops up on her TV and then returns to the programme she was watching when I hang up. The grandchildren have used it to keep in touch too, especially over the Christmas period. I used the booking system for the install to receive IT help for setting up which was very helpful and very worthwhile. The only issue I've encountered is the clarity of the picture but that may well have something to do with the strength of the Wi-Fi signal rather than the device. Highly recommended.
Only been installed for a week but seems to be working as it says on the box. We have it connected via the wifi in the care home. . . which drops out every now and then, but that is a weak wifi signal – nothing to do with the system installed.
So far it has worked very well It’s great being able to see my parents every day and they don’t have to do anything to receive my call. Living abroad it gives me peace of mind
